Summer Weekly Challenge ~ #3

Welcome to Week 3 of our Weekly Summer Challenge!
If you are just joining us, click here to see what we've been doing the last two weeks. 
For those of you who have been with us, GREAT JOB and keep up the awesome work! Think of all the good you are doing and how healthy you will feel!

This last week was a huge transition for me as we moved from China back to America. House was being packed plus airport and airplane food made both working out and eating right a challenge for sure, but you all motivated me to stay on track! Now we will be staying in a hotel, which also can pose temptations (free breakfast buffet!). However, I am looking forward to meeting the challenge head on and feeling more empowered for it! 

We have already implemented cardiovascular fitness into our routine in week 1.
 Now it is time to add some STRENGTH TRAINING.
Don't be intimidated, we are NOT talking body building! It is a knowN fact that building muscle burns more fat, takes up less space, makes you stronger and healthier!

Week 3 Challenge
  • Continue to break a sweat and pump your heart for one hour, five days a week.

  • Continue for AT LEAST five days a week have AT LEAST one serving of fruits and/or vegetables at EVERY meal.

  • For THREE days this week implement thirty minutes of strength training.

You may be hearing a lot about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).  Here is a great workout, if you want to give it a try. 

You have also probably heard of Tabata Training
