21 Day Fix ~ Day 5 Thoughts





Day 5 Thoughts: (And I have A LOT of them!)

* Yesterday (day 4) I was SUPER grouchy and wanted any sweets I could find. I didn't partake but was feeling rebellious and ticked off about it. BUT today I woke up and was not hungry and when I think of sweets I feel like "meh". SO, moral of THIS story, don't give in...you turn that corner to sweet success!

* Cardio Fix IS NO JOKE! It kicked my booty! Don't get discouraged! AND DON'T STOP. "one minute at a time".

* Are you using the tally sheets????? I wasn't until I decided to print them out today. DO IT! Go to your teambeachbody account, left side menu click "workout sheets", 21 Day Fix worksheets. YOU WILL THANK ME!

21 Day Fix- Day 3


Day 3 of the #21dayfix
These workouts are no laughing matter BUT the modifier makes it so ANYONE can do them. I am feeling it in my triceps today and am LOVING IT! 30 min workouts are THE BOMB!
I am NOT hungry at all. I usually eat pretty clean, but this is a great reminder of pure nutrients and all the "little" unnecessary things I add to my diet that ADD UP. The portions are not limiting whatsoever! And I am REALLY enjoying the choices for each "color".
You probably know my little challenge to myself about not weighing in until day 21. It is getting easier to stay off the scale. Cold turkey baby!

Here was my menu for today-
breakfast-
red- Chocolate shakeology with water and ice
purple- 1/2 banana

snack- red- plain greek yogurt

lunch- green- broccoli
green- carrots (10 baby)
red- pork tenderloin
yellow-lentils
blue- hummus

snack- purple- apple
teaspoon- peanut butter

dinner- green- spinach
red- ground turkey
yellow- brown rice
teaspoon- coconut oil

21 Day Fix - Day 2

Yep! I am at it again....a hybrid of two programs together! I am continuing on with P90X3 and adding the 21 Day Fix to it. So far, it is fabulous! 

The toughest part for me is I am challenging myself to NOT step on the scale until Day 21! It is not part of the "program"...but I have learned I have an unhealthy relationship with that dumb thing...not weighing in this morning WAS HARD! But it makes me MORE dedicated to sticking with the eating plan so that I will be SHOCKED (in a good way) on Day 21....stay tuned!

breakfast- red- shakeology
purple- blueberries
orange replacement- almond milk

snack- red- hard boiled eggs (2)

lunch- green- spinach
green- kale
red- turkey bacon
yellow-whole grain wrap
blue- hummus
**So excited for lunch!**

dinner- green- broccoli

yellow- lentils

What I learned from yesterday.... I don't normally eat a lot from the yellow group, so that is an adjustment for me. Also, I have nothing from the orange group so I am using that as my almond milk for Shakeology. I am excited to eat today!
